The following testimonials about our Klass Kote Epoxy Paint System when used as model paints - give a very clear indication that epoxy paints are very well received within the demanding model crafting industry - for all of their model painting needs. Epoxy Paint, used as model paints, not only decorate your RC model project, but also give it the protection required when exposing your RC model to the severe environments exncoutered when "playing". We also offer a extensive line of Polyurethane paints in Xotic Colors that can also be used as model paints. When it comes time to paint your RC model, consider what other modelers are using for model paint!
I just wanted to let you know that I'm very impresssed with your epoxy paints. I'm not a good painter but liked your products very much as they are very easy and simple to use and despite all my efforts, I could not get this epoxy paint to run anywhere on the plane which btw I have always managed in the past with other products. That is how inexperienced I'm with painting. I used your product in temperatures way below your recommendations with excellent results. I just wanted this project finished so I can move on over to the next one hence the rush. Anyway, great product and service. Below is some pictures of my plane which is twin turbine powered. I'm just finishing some final detail and then looking forward to lots of flying.
Attached is a photo of a restored control line model originally built in 1951, top-coated with your Klass Kote Epoxy clear coat. I restored this ancient Debolt SportWing as a project for my web site www.ClassicAircraftModels.com . Although my restorations use authentic dope finishes, I always top-coated with HobbyPoxy to preserve the finish. With the passing of that product I thought I would never find a suitable substitute, but your epoxy clear coats proved to be a perfect replacement. It sprays beautifully and hardens quickly to a fine gloss finish. The gloss on the SportWing is entirely from a single coat of Klass Kote Epoxy Paint...the dope finish substrate was thin, and the silk weave was prominant. A single light coat of your product made the model look like it has twenty coats of rubbed-out dope. Thanks for developing this great epoxy paint product.
I just finished using your epoxy paint on a Dornier Skyservant. I had tried model latex paint but encountered problems with latex adhering to the base primer. I had used your clear coat product over automotive enamel before with excellent results so I decided to strip the latex and use your epoxy paint with a satin catalyst. It went on in without any problems in our Florida humidity and sanded very nicely. I had no problems with the base primer paint. It's there to stay, unlike the latex paint.
Thanks for an excellent epoxy paint! I recommend it to everyone.

I attached photos of three of my models done with your excellent epoxy paint system. The P-39 was my first attempt with Klass Kote, the Stinson is all Klass Kote epoxy paint straight over fabric and the P-47 is a Top Flite built-up kit with a full weathered finish. I sincerely hope your epoxy paint remains available as nothing else matches it’s ease of application and finish quality…in my opinion. I also appreciate your awesome customer support with mixes, ordering, tech support etc.
Thanks, feel free to use the words or pictures as you see fit.
I have just finished using Klass Kote Epoxy Paint System for the first time, I have painted my Chinook helicopter with Klass Kote epoxy primer paint and olive drab. WOW this stuff really is great, I painted the primer paint using a regular automotive air gun but didn’t want to do all the clean up again so I used a Preval one-time use spray gun for the top coat - works great and no cleaning the gun.
Thought you’d enjoy seeing how the wheel pant turned out. You epoxy paint went on great and was a good color match. Just used a cheapie Preval sprayer. Had a little orange peel but too lazy to rub out for this job. Will now invest in a HVLP sprayer.
I’ll order some white primer paint on your web site.
I had painted with Super Poxy back in the day on my pattern ships and loved it. Then it disappeared. Working in a hobby shop I get commissions of various models and have my choice of finishes. When I want a flawless high gloss finish, I use Epoxy Paint from Klass Kote. My choice of applying is a HVLP gravity feed spray gun. With a primed wet sanded surface all I need is 1 coat. Two coats if I color sand and glaze after (not necessary). The shine is like glass and lasts.
